Getting Started
Grounded in three simple steps
No tools, no mattress lifting, no new bedding. Most people are set up and grounding within five minutes of opening the box.
1
Set up your mat
Choose your spot — bed, chair, or floor — and lay the mat flat, rubber-grip side down, cotton side up.
- Smooth out wrinkles for better contact and comfort
- On a bed, place your fitted sheet over the mat. Place a magnet in each corner in line with the magnet in the mat to further secure the mat.
- The rubber-grip backing keeps everything in place all night

2
Connect to the earth
Snap the round metal end of the grounding cord onto the mat, then plug the other end into the ground port of a properly grounded three-prong outlet.
- Not sure your outlet is grounded? An inexpensive outlet tester will tell you
- No grounded outlet? A grounding rod kit (sold separately) connects the mat directly to the earth outside
3
Relax and ground
- Use during sleep, work, or while watching TV
- Start with 30–60 minutes a day and increase as desired
- Thin clothing or a sheet between you and the mat works, but bare skin is most effective.

Tips for best results
Be consistent
Grounding works best with regular use. Sleeping on the mat nightly is the easiest way to build the habit.
Wash gently
Unplug the cord first. Machine wash on gentle with cold or warm water and mild, sulfate-free detergent. No bleach, softeners, or whitening agents. Line dry or tumble low.
Mind the magnets
The magnets are extremely strong. Keep them separated with the provided plastic rings when not in use, and don’t let them snap together from a distance.
Safety First
Safety notes
- Only plug into a properly grounded three-prong outlet.
- Do not use if your electrical system is ungrounded or faulty.
- Keep the mat away from water while plugged in.
Five minutes to set up. A lifetime of grounding.
